Basic SEO included in every website

SEO optimization is one of the most important features for your personally branded website. Basic SEO friendly website setup includes website image optimization for faster page loading, alt and title tags on all images along with SEO friendly titles & descriptions for each page for better SEO and search engine ranking. The following are implemented into every site we build:

  1. SSL certificate: Google and other search engines prioritize websites that have SSL certificates and let visitors know whether it’s a secure site or not. Some browsers or internet security programs even block sites that don’t have SSL certificates.
  2. Website speed: Website speed is another factor which affects the rankings, so it’s very important to log into your site once a month or so and do basic routine maintenance. We use a website theme called Divi, which has had many speed improvements and is very user-friendly for our clients to work with.
  3. Page titles & Descriptions: We create descriptive page titles with keywords for better SEO and page ranking
  4. Image Keywords: Your images are named with keywords reflecting your personal brand for better SEO.
  5. Optimized Images: website images are optimized for faster page loading and overall website ranking and better SEO.
  6. 404 page: A custom branded 404 page will be created for when visitors access a non-existent page.
  7. Social Share Image: Whenever your website is shared on Social Media, your main branded website image will appear.
  8. HTML Tags: We will add special code in the back end of your site so that the search engines index and rank your website.

Generally, the more pages in a website, the more the search engines have to list for you. For this reason, a multiple page website has a better ability to be ranked than a single page website. Furthermore, a blog that’s updated consistently with relative unique content (ideally, of at least 800 words with backlinks) will greatly improve the site’s listing, as well as to gain a regular following for your blog, especially if each post is shared on social media. The more visitors or hits that you do get, the more your site will rise in the rankings because the search engines can read it’s popularity.

In addition to the basic search engine optimization, there are also advanced techniques that we can do for your site. This includes creating separate pages for each demo genre, which all have unique and descriptive text on them, provided by you. Once your SEO is complete, you can also add your domain to the Google Search Console for quicker ranking along with adding your domain to Google Analytics for visitor tracking.
