Embedding Live Social Media Feeds
Most of our clients love having their Instagram feed embedded directly into their website. It turns a static page into a dynamic, visual experience. While Instagram is the most popular choice, we can also integrate feeds from Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and other platforms.
During development, we typically use our own Instagram account as a placeholder to ensure the design looks perfect. Once your site is ready to launch, we help you connect your own account to make the site truly yours.
How to Connect (or Reconnect) Your Instagram Feed
Because connecting a social feed requires your specific login credentials, we prefer to walk you through the setup. This ensures your private information stays secure.
Note: If you change your Instagram password in the future, the connection may “unhook” for security reasons. If that happens, just follow these simple steps to get back online:
- Log In: Ensure you are logged into your Instagram account in your web browser.
- Access Dashboard: Log into your WordPress site and select “Instagram Feed” from the left-hand menu.
- Edit the Feed: Go to “All Feeds” and click the Pencil Icon (Edit) next to your feed.
- Update Source: Click on Settings > Edit Sources.
- Add Your Account: Click “Add Another Source.” A secure dialog box will appear—follow the prompts to authorize the connection.
- Cleanup: If the Biondo Studio placeholder is still there, simply delete it so only your posts are visible. Save your settings, and your site will update instantly!
