Kieran Viola Editorial
Kieran has been a client of ours for quite awhile, and this is our third site together. A New York Times best-selling author as well as a former editorial director and associate publisher, and now she has decided to go on her own with Kieran Viola Editorial. We chose a minimal design using stock images that show the fun and beauty of the behind the scenes job of writing and editing. Pink is used as a main color since her audience is largely female, and we just went all the way with it, using various shades in color blocks to divide up the contents of the pages and make it easier to read. We created matching business cards and social media banners so that she can be consistent throughout all of her branding.
Branding and Design
We started with a stock image search until we found an image that was just right for Kieran. Then we created a minimal design using simple fonts and carried over the color scheme. We were not afraid to really go along with the color pink!
Website Development
We helped Kieran to get her content organized, especially since this was her first site for this specialty. The site can be easily expanded with the current pages, and new ones can be added as needed.
Technical Assistance
We set Kieran up with a domain name and managed WordPress hosting that includes everything else she needs for the site, including the SSL certficate and daily automatic backups. The site is easy for her to update, or she can get in touch with us for larger updates and maintenance.
