Collaborating on a professional website design doesn’t require technical expertise, but it does require organization. To ensure a smooth launch and avoid project delays, we ask that all materials be finalized and edited before submission. Collecting your content into a single, organized package prevents “piecemeal” delivery, which can lead to version confusion and additional costs.
Organizing Your Digital Assets
For the most efficient workflow, please organize your content into a single main folder labeled with your name. Inside, create sub-folders for each specific page or section of your site.
Upload your completed folder to a trusted file-sharing service such as:
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- WeTransfer
- Hightail
Technical Specifications for Media and Text
Providing files in the correct format ensures the highest quality results and better website performance.
Text and Copywriting
Submit your final, proofread text in digital formats that allow for easy integration, such as:
- Microsoft Word (.doc)
- Rich Text Format (.rtf)
- Directly within a structured email.
High-Resolution Photos and Images
For a crisp, professional look, please submit high-resolution (300 dpi) files. Avoid using special characters in your filenames.
- Accepted Formats: JPG, PSD, PDF, TIFF, EPS, or PNG.
Vector Artwork and Logos
If you have an existing logo, please provide the original Vector file (AI, EPS, or PNG). Vector files allow us to scale your branding without any loss of quality or “pixelation.”
Audio and Video Guidelines
- Audio: MP3 is the preferred format for web streaming. While WAV files are high-quality, their large file size can slow down site performance.
- Video: We recommend uploading your MP4 or MOV files to YouTube or Vimeo and sending us the links. This offloads the heavy “streaming weight” to their servers, keeping your website fast while still utilizing our custom video players.
Additional Creative Services
If your materials aren’t ready for digital use, Biondo Studio offers the following services at an hourly rate:
- Photo editing and image scanning.
- Typing and formatting non-digital text.
- Duplicating or migrating online videos.
