Partnering with Richard Blanco—the youngest Presidential Inaugural Poet in U.S. history—was an exercise in bringing order to a rich and prolific career. With a vast collection of books, appearances, and educational resources to house, the goal was to create a digital home that felt both prestigious and easy to explore. We built a structured, intuitive site that allows the depth of his life’s work to take center stage while ensuring visitors always have a clear sense of where they are. The project also expanded into a Kajabi setup, where we support Richard and his team with setting up paid virtual workshops and downloadable content.

Visual Identity & Brand Systems
Using Richard’s established logo and expressive photography as our foundation, we designed a visual environment that reflects the weight and importance of his work. A refined palette of grayscale and deep royal blue, paired with subtle textures, creates a backdrop of quiet authority. This clean aesthetic isn't just about style; it serves to divide his many projects into readable, manageable sections, making his deep library of content effortless to navigate.
Website Design & Development
The project involved two distinct digital environments: a high-performance WordPress site for his public portfolio and a custom-tailored Kajabi platform for his educational work. We streamlined the transition between the two, making it simple for readers to move from exploring his poetry to joining his virtual workshops. By integrating his books and media with a functional digital classroom, we created a complete ecosystem for his readers, students, and professional partners.

Our ongoing partnership ensures that Richard’s entire digital presence remains fast, secure, and ready for a global audience. We provide technical support for both the main website and the Kajabi platform—handling the backend details and setting up new workshops and downloadable content as they are released.
